Dr. Sarah Chaulk, C.Psych.

Dr. Chaulk is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with more than a decade of experience working with Public Safety Personnel. Her approach to psychological services is personalized, collaborative, and evidenced-based. She works primarily with individuals in the fields of emergency response, law enforcement, and national defense who want to improve their performance and build resiliency and/or who have psychological injuries related to their occupation.  

Dr. Chaulk received her doctorate from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2013. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Manitoba and the former Clinical Director for the Winnipeg Operational Stress Injury Clinic. 

Dr. Chaulk’s area of expertise is in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of Traumatic Stress. She commonly works with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, sleep issues, substance misuse, relationship problems, disordered eating, and moral injury.  Her therapeutic approach most commonly involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
