March & April 2025: Dr. Holens presented a seminar titled Mental Health Basics for First Responders. This is a talk geared towards new WFPS recruits and is offered a few times per year. Along with the WFPS Behavioural Health Nurse, she has also hosted several open houses and information nights for members and their families. During these events, they talk about how to support their loved ones as they enter the workforce and provide resources for how to address mental health concerns if they come up.
